Elaine with a puppetHi, I’m Elaine.

I am a writer/diarist/blogger, an animal lover, and a curious person. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and another Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies. I am a vegan, atheist feminist who lives in Las Vegas. Originally from a small town in California, I’ve also lived in New York and South Lake Tahoe. I’ve visited Paris, London, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Melbourne and lots of places in between.

I have worked in many fields from a hair salon to a post-graduate dental school, including a short stint with a networking company. I’ve volunteered with a variety of animal rescue organizations, environmental conservation groups, and a state women’s lobby. I have self-taught minimal hacking (not cracking), cooking, and photography skills and varied, ever-expanding interests.
